8050 power shift can't get out of hi range

In moving this tractor around in the past
few weeks, I can't get it out of high
range. It runs and moves fine in high
through all the powershift speeds. Any
idea? Will it damage anything to keep
running it like this?

I doubt it will hurt anything, as it's probably a cable/linkage related problem. You might try removing the rear floor plate and checking the cable/connections. If needed you can try disconnecting the cable and shifting the range manually. That should help narrow down the problem.
