Old D19 Diesel still going strong

My Father-in-law use to farm with this tractor back in the 70's & 80's plowing with 4X16's and pulling a fertilizer buggy once in awhile. It sat outside for many years and is a little worse for wear. But, I have tried to fix the major things enough to keep it going. I have replaced wheel bearings, put new clutch/pressure plate, rear seal, replaced hydraulic lines, wired up for alternator, built a 3 point hitch, replaced seat (old one rusted in two), replaced rear rims and tires (calcium ate the old ones). But she still runs good and brush hogged like a champ tonight. Someday when I retire, my plan is to totally restore it and the 4 bottom snap coupler plow.

Great looking old tractor, good story,

I had a D14 years ago, fine old tractor, building a 3 pt hitch brought back memories, as I built one for the old D14.

I had a number of pieces of snap couple equipment for it.
Corn planter, subsoiler, pond scoop, double disc plow, two row front mounted cultivator, plus all the normal farming tools.

Bet those lights being on the rear fenders cover you in bugs, if working at night.

When cultivating at night with the D14, I had the left light forward, the right light pointing down so I could see the cultivator.

Thanks for showing a picture of the old tractor.

If AC and international could have had the three point hitch, they might have still been in business today. They made a good tractor, but snap couple and two point hitch systems just never when over that big, I guess.
Old Harry Ferguson with his little Ferguson and three point hitch had the right idea for the small farmer.

You're a good mechanic to have already done what you list. There is no stopping you from whatever you want to do from here!!
