replacing clutch and slow PTO

I have a 185 and the clutch just went out on me. I have never torn down one of these so I don't really know what I need to get besides the clutch replacement kit. Before the clutch went out the pto was running way to slow. HELP!!! Since I will have it apart do I get the PTO clutch plate or the whole pto cluth?

It probably has a metallic clutch in it. Which I never liked, as it wore the flywheel and pressure plate badly. You can buy a new pressure plate assembly, but the flywheel will have to be machined, assuming it hasn't been machined to it's limit already.

I assume your 185 has the hydraulic PTO clutch, as all I ever saw did have? The hydraulic PTO clutch has nothing to do with the engine(foot) clutch, other than the PTO is powered through the engine clutch, so that whenever it's pushed down, everything behind it stops.

If your ground speed was slowing when the pto slowed the foot cutch is to blame for both. However if your ground speed was OK while the PTO slowed you have other problems to repair.
