200 pto

I think my pto is slipping, can I replace the clutches by pulling shaft assembly fro rear or do I have to break the tractor?

I assume you have the hydraulic PTO clutch? Maybe all 200's did, I don't know. It's in the housing under the belly of the tractor. That housing can be pulled off the tractor, with the clutch contained in it.

I know my pto is not like the 190's I had, and you can engage on the move without clutch. I have not worked on one but think I am going to have to., Thanks.

Check all pressures first, get out the manuel. Mine worked till the fluid gets warm. The tractor was new to me when I found the problem. We think there is a seal out in the 2speed power director. I am told the fluid goes thru the power director and the PTO.
