wd45 questions

Ok im usually an Oliver guy. But lately I've been interested in my uncle's wd45. He plans on selling it and I know a small amount about it. He used it a little for farming but it was mainly just for hobby. I'm interested in it for a puller in farm stock and maybe playing on the farm with it. I'm pretty sure I'm going to buy it either way but I'm interested in the pulling applications. I've seen a lot done to these but haven't had interest until now. So here's my questions...
1. Weight shaving can you actually replace the frame with aluminum? Has anyone done this?
2. Rear wheels is there a way to convert to 9 bolt rims? I would like to have taller rears for better transfer.
3. What's a safe rpm? I run my 770 up to 3000 and I know these are rated for 1400 can I run it to maybe 2000 safely on stock internals? I know safely is a choice word just asking how sound the motors are.
4. And just basically any other little things I should know.
Thanks for help.

I've never considered aluminum side frames, as there is more to those frames that it appears from the outside. They are machined on the insides to effectively clamp to each attachment point....a pretty neat thing when you see one removed. The bare tractor with no fluid weighs less than 3800 pounds. Many WD's are pulling in the 3500 lb class. Mine weighs 3500 with me (200 lbs) and 200 lbs of weights on the front and 15.5 X 38 rears with wheelie bars. 9 bolt wheels I have always cut out the 9 bolt circle and welded in an 8 bolt circle overlapping the steel so there is an inside weld and outside weld. Safe RPM?? If the engine is in good shape, you'll never blow one up at 3,000 RPM's for the length of time it's on the track. I prefer a WD straight stick tranny because low gear is faster than a WD-45.

Thanks that was the info I was looking for. One more question, what is the bolt pattern
size for the fronts?
