185 split help

Once again thanks to all for the info. Now I have a problem , got her back together after replacing bad first gear and counter shaft. I don't have pto . Followed the manual to a tee. Everything else works great. Any help appreciated.

Is it hyd activated or manual, but if I remember right, there's a coupling that can fall off between the two shafts.

Believe it's hydraulic. I didn't see anything in the torque tube as it came together. Unless it's further towards the motor. Guess I need to pull the power director valve off and have a look . It does feel like it's just free wheeling when u turn it by hand

I looked in my 185 manual, there's a coupling that holds the two pto shafts togather. Not sure if pulling the rear one would let you fish the coupling out or not.

Thought I posted earlier but don't see it . Talked to Bill at Sandy lake implements . There is an external disconnect that can be bumped when putting every thing back together. She's 100 percent now . Thanks again and I can't say enough good about the folks at Sandy lake .
