XT 190 distributor

So got a call form a guy today. He has a XT 190 gas that the distributor is bad on it. He can set the points and it will run for a few minutes then start running bad. If he checks the point gap it has change. So any body know where a person can find a distributor for this tractor. This site does not list one

Old is the shaft bearing replaceable? like on a car distributer? Give Welters a call at Verona Mo. You know they have a lot of older parts!( 417 498 6496 )
 
I have no idea if the bushing/bearing in the distributor can be replace or not. I did new brakes on this thing a month or so ago but did not look at the distributor. I'll pass that number on to the guy. Thanks
 
Old! also tell him, that there is an Allstates wrecking yard, in Sikeston Mo. They have 7 tractor-combine wrecking yards, in Wi, Ia. MN. SD. and NE. as well as Mo.
 
The last time I needed distributor bushings I used starter bushings from napa. If it has the same dist. As my uncles 190 series 1 they should be replaceable.
 
I had a 149 cubic inch 4 cylinder Allis with a very worn distributor, would run OK at idle but at higher RPM the misfiring would start. The problem was fixed 100% once I installed the Pertronix electronic ignition kit.
