D19 w/loader

I've been needing a loader tractor for some time, and have found a D19 gas w/loader. Haven't looked at it in person yet, but it looks pretty fair for its age. How does a D19 work out as a loader tractor? Here's the description: D 19 AC gas tractor with loader and 3 point hitch, tractor runs good, I have the original 2 point hitch as well as a aftermarket 3 point hitch on it. Tires are weather checked but good usable tires. It needs painted, It has dual hydraulic outlets on the back as well as the three point set up. It has a 4 spool control valve. Brakes need a little work and I have a electric fuel pump on it because the mechanical pump failed and I haven't found one yet. The motor runs well and doesn't use oil. The sheet metal is straight with the exception of the grill needs some straightening.

Asking price of $3500. I've owned Fords my whole life, but have ran several AC's and like them. So, what do you think?

My dad has had several D19 tractors with loaders, my brother has one that he uses for snow clearing. They have all worked out really well. For the price and description you gave I don't think you can go wrong on that deal. You may want to check the speed of the loader going up and make sure the power steering works well. Some think the D19 gas is a bit thirsty but it's also a big tractor. My brother overhauled the engine in his last year and he could hardly believe how much less gas it consumes after the engine job.

I've had several D19 tractors and the handiest buy far is the one I have now with the
front engine driven hydraulic pump that gives it hydraulics when the foot clutch is shoved in, a lot better than the way the regular hydraulics work.

Thanks for the info. Any idea how hard the front-driven pump would be to come by if this one doesn't have one? What does a 19 have, something like a 2-stage clutch?

I have a ac d-17 series 3 with loader runs off pump on front of motor also ran dual hydraulic to rear off same pump
