I just bought a AC XT190 and it appears the brakes are locking up, at times I have to pop the clutch to get it moving.
The guy I bought it from told me just adjusted them before I picked it up. I think he over adjusted them, there is almost no travel in the pedal. Anyone know what it should be?
Also looking for a shop manual for the XT190.
Thanks Jay

I just did a brake job on an XT190 and it was not fun and cost $600 plus in parts. If not adjusted right yep they can/will lock up but also bad springs and old brake dust can cause odd problems. The I-T AC-202 manual cover the XT190 and is around $30 form any good farm and home store

(quoted from post at 18:28:13 05/10/15) Just takes a 3/4" wrench underneath the platform on each side. Loosen the head of each left/right adjusting bolt until you have about 3 inches of pedal travel. The bolt is on a lever on each brake housing. Easy to do unless the rear tires are in narrow.

Most likely the linings on the disc are worn out. This allows the balls between the plates to ride up out of place and lock the brake. Reversing direction will unlock them.
