Delco dist drive

I have an allis c that has a Delco distributor on it.
The distributor drive is a 90 degree drive. My
question is does that drive have its own oil for
lubercation? There is a pipe plug in the center of it
on the horizontal portion of the drive.

That is the aftermarket Delco conversion from a magneto and you are correct that it is lubricated separately. You can grease it through that pipe plug hole but dont install a fitting. You dont want it full of grease, gears should be covered. Can use regular #2 gun grease but I like to use the O grade semi fluid type sold at Deere for corn heads or at a Stihl dealer for string trimmer gear boxes.
