I was hauling fill to a small time gravel pit today and spotted this Allis loader. This is his main loader, it has some oil leaks, but did a great job. Never seen an A-C loader, just thought I'd share.

One of the best loaders built. SIMPLE design, off the shelf components, only thing AC was the frame and engine. The engines were great in tractors but couldn't live over 3-4000 hrs. The transmission was an allison, like JD's of that era and most other machines. Rears were Rockwell and off the shelf components. How do I know? from 1972 till now I've used 545'
s,645's and now a 605. most went over 10,000 hours in scrap yards after engine swap's to detroits. Slobber oil,but always start, dozen's of times a day. Cats and john deeres couldn't do it and could buy the AC's 10 years old cheap. Love them.
