believe I have a 1950 Allis Chalmers b model lost position of timing, plastic piece that was on back of gear with A and C on it fell apart need picture of gear with A and C on it relative to flat edge so we get timing marks back any help would be appreciated thank you

Send me an e-mail and what mag you have and I will in turn send you by way of e-mail an manual for your mag. I have manual;s for the 2 common mags used on that tractor

I have timed several FM type J mags with marks.

Position the rotor so it is pointing just under the
timing lug. Turn the small gear so the filed tooth is
pointing up. Then put the cap on.

thnks for all the info but believe I have found the problem, the gear that should have a and c on it fits on a shaft with a bearing that fits in the end cap. the bearing is spinning inside cap and moves back and forth believe it's being held to far away from end cap cover not allowing spark. try to check it this weekend and post thanks again for all the help
