rear ca rim

I fix rim all the time. Many I have been told I could not fix but did any how. Ya they may not look good but if it is for a working tractor it is far cheaper then buying a new rim

Don't you just love it when someone says something can't be fixed?
I say, if some one made it, it can be fixed, might cost a bunch, but any thing mechanical can be fixed.

I love to prove them wrong when they say it can not be fixed. Or like the tires on my W Speed Patrol I was told I needed to change them over 20 years ago and they are still working and holding the tube in

Here is a link to pictures I took repairing a ford spin out rim.

I took pictures one evening while working second shift when a foreman was sick and didn't have my camera with me the next evening when I finished it.

Really simple to do...find a donor rim of the same profile, (like another rusty one) cut out the bad on the original rim, cut a matching section from the donor, and weld it in place. Careful welding and grinding, then painting and you can"t tell where the fix was made.

so does anyone out there have a chunk of rim with the valve stem hole that they would be willing to part with and ship for a fair price?
