Hey ,thought it would be a breeze to remove the pan on this critter but to no avail?? Any solutions or good ideas will help?? Thought moving the front axle forward would work, but nope, notta!! HELP!!!!!

Most you can turn corner ways and get out but I have had two that I had to loosen the four bolts on the front of the block that hold the front end to the block. I never had to remove the nuts just loosen them about 1/2 inch. Jack under the bell housing to take the weight off the front wheels and pry forward. I measured some pans corner ways and some are a little larger corner to corner. Try wiggling it corner ways first. The pivot pin nut is the problem dropping it straight down.

[Got it, took the big bolt that was welded on the front axle or the pin I guess ,got it out and got the pan out. Just didn't think you would have to dismantle the frontend to take a pan off?? Oh, well, it worked!! Good to go now. Thnks for the reply Don
