WD45 Governor Spring

I am in search of a governor spring for my WD45. I have check several of the sites I am aware of but they all say they do not carry them . Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried an AGCO dealer??? I almost bet they will have them or know where to find them.

Correct p/n is 70220702 for a WD and WD-45 and should yield 1700 RPM max at full throttle on a properly adjusted governor. I hope you get a good one. About a year ago I purchased a new AGCO governor spring for a One-Seventy tractor that should have yielded 2,000 RPM and the one I got would produce 2,400 RPM. The Vendor/Supplier had clearly made it wrong/too strong/too stiff. I hope yours is correctly made.

I purchased one 2 years ago from AGCO and still have it, brand new. Thought the spring was broke before we had a chance to check I bought it, just in case, since I was up against a time deadline. Turns out spring was fine and it was something else. It runs around $50 ay AGCO. Let me see if I can find it and I could swing you a deal.
