Wiring Harness D17 Diesel Series I

My D17 Diesel wiring harness is completely rotted away, was wondering if anyone had one that would work or what modifications I would have to make to fit the seriesIV wiring harness into mine. That appears to be the only one I can find anywhere. Thoughts. Thanks :(

The differences I can think of are- headlights on the fenders, vs front headlights on yours. And they moved the voltage regulator around a little. It would still be in the same general area. I wouldn't think either issue would be a deal killer. That system is simple enough that making your own new harness is also a possibility.

I am sure if AGCO has a harness available they will be
expensive. Here is an aftermarket place I found online. I have
not bought anything from them so I cannot vouch for quality or
customer service.

Wiring up a tractor is real simple and most any body can make there own wiring for one. Being a diesel makes it even easier. My self I have wired up hundreds of them from the ground up.

We make the wiring harnesses for all of the D17 diesels. The early D17's up to sn. 9500 use screw terminals at the key switch and light switch. Our harnesses are made to look like original harnesses with original wire colors, terminals and outer jacket. We use cross-linked polyethylene insulated wire as an improvement over the original vinyl insulation, and all terminals are crimped and soldered.
