PTO is bent on WD

I would replace the PTO shaft and bearing as soon
as possible,so you don't do anymore damage or hurt
someone. You can buy good used shaft and bearing
reasonably off e-bay or a salvage yard. Just my 2
cents. Fred

If you have the right equipment it might be able to be straighten but in the long run it would be better to find a used on. I may even have one. I know I have one off a WC but not sure if they are the same as the WD

Depends where the bend is....if in the bearing area, I"d replace it. Mid-area, I"d consider straightening it in a press. WD, WD45 are identical, WC is not. Shouldn"t be hard to find a replacement, tho.

(quoted from post at 10:37:15 02/11/15) The portion of the PTO shaft that is splined was bent by the previous owner. It wobbles about a half inch out center, enough so that when I connect a shaft with a universal joint on it, it wobbles significantly, but still does function.

Is there a recommended way to get the wobble out, or is it easier to simply replace the entire shaft?

The bend is right at the spline at the end of the shaft next to the bearing. Probably better to just replace it.

Anyone have one to sell?

Thank you,
Billy

With out going out and looking I do not know for sure if the PTO shaft is still on the parts WD that I have. E-mail is open if you want to talk
