7020 exhaust leak

this 7020 is leaking exhaust out of what looks to be a weep hole on the bottom of the exhaust elbow coming from the turbo to the muffler. it just started doing this. does this mean the muffler is plugging up? or is something else causing this? thanks for any help.

any loss of power? Have a case that was doing that, replaced muffler and made a difference.

That hole has been there right along. Has it eroded and gotten bigger, so now you notice it?

it looks to be a drilled hole from the factory. the only reason I can think of is that the muffler is getting plugged causing too much back pressure. tractor smokes black pretty good. not sure on any loss of power because its not my tractor and haven't had a chance to talk to the owner yet.
