Allis W Speed Patrol Values

Hello, I was looking around a little bit lately at a couple Allis W Speed Patrols. Both units are bolted, not welded. One is restorable condition. It runs and drives, and would be a rather easy project, not all pieced together and for the most part all original, including hand brakes and the tires are decent-weather checked of course so will need replaced. The other one is all restored, very nicely done, with new rubber all the way around. I don't know a whole lot about them. I basically have only ever been around my WD45 and my C and that's it. Has anybody seen any of them sell lately? I think they would be a fun little toy to play around the farm with. I will try to get some pictures posted through the week. Also, I'm in SE SD-and I'm open to others if somebody has one for sale. Thank you

I have seen them sell for a s little as $500 not running and up to $10,000 for one that is in good shape and looks good. As for weather checked tires well I was told over 15 years ago I needed to replace the tires on my W Speed Patrol and have yet to do so.

Like a lot of other far from rare pieces they are not the darling for an A-C collector that they were 10 years ago. I think Old may be a bit high based upon what I know is for sale and they are not selling.

Couple I saw a few years ago were in the $3-4000 range. Running condition. Pics would be nice. There is a difference between the Maintainer and the Speed Patrol.

Depending on loctaion and condition, I would say $1000 min for running probably $3500 tops unless its a pristine restored one like the one that sold at the Zacheis auction that went pretty high as I recall. Mine is rough but completely functional even with cracked tires on 28 inch WC wheels but worked fine to grade for new building - paid about $1k in 2013. Fun to use but hand brakes a pain - but if blade is down you really dont need brakes that much - just push clutch in and it stops. Manual wheels to raise blade will build muscles. Seem to be higher value in midwest and esp in Illinois (Zacheis). Several at auction went $3000-3500 in Michigan but that was 7 or 8 years back. Dakotas may be on lower end of value. I saw one going cheap (~1200 in decent running condition) in SD a couple of years back on eBay would have grabbed it but would have significantly more than doubled cost to get it home.
