Pix of Allis SP Combine

Looked at combine photos and didn't see any of the old (first-style???) Allis Chalmers self-propelled combines--the ones where the separators were "sideways" (like the all-crop pull-types) with a side discharge of the straw. Are any of these still existing? Are there any pictures of any of them?

That would be the Model SP100 and the Super 100. I found an SP100 this year, pix are in the camera...gotta post them yet. Mine is a 1955, something around 6000 built, don"t have the final serial number. Mine has windrow pickup, recently used for combining clover seed. Every crack, door, cover...covered with duct tape or tar to keep the seed inside.

Found these pictures on the internet.

Finally got the pix loaded. SP 100, but apparently the steering has been switched to the Super style. Original would be a flat wheel. Bought it for $900, northern MN. Working machine, used for clover seed. For paul...dryer in the background is a Farm Fans AB8B automatic batch dryer. Does 100 bu per batch, reloads, shuts off when empty.

got one that was restored a few years ago but has set out last couple of years. guy was supposed to get it if he don't it will be for sale this spring before it gets cut up.

Thanks Posters! Interesting style combine and I enjoyed seeing a couple of these again. Looks like both are operational too!
As a kid we had a pull type, canvas, pto-type, four bar reel (ground driven) with a square elevator. It was interesting in that when the spout was "in" it filled the bin on the combine. Then when we unloaded, we moved the spout, engaged the tractor pto and the bin unloaded. Had to remove and rebuild the wood inside that elevator--what a major pain! kelly

What is your location? I"m considering switching mine to a straight cut, instead of replacing the draper on the windrow pickup. email open.
