d 14 hydrolics

Hyds ok but live only with the high/neutral/low lever. push in the clutch and no hyds

I boy a D-17 series 1, which has no 2- way remotes. wish I had bot a series 4 which is plumbed for remotes. Suggest you check on AC forum

The D14 has a high pressure (3200 psi), low volume system. You need compatible cyl to make it work best, like the cyl AC sold. You can add low pressure two-way hyd by adding a valve with a pressure relief valve set at a lower pressure. Cyl speed will be slower because of the lower volume. I run wagon hoists, other conventional cyl with my D17, as well as the original AC cyl. Like old described, hyd and pto are live with the Power Director (hand clutch).

As JMS already mentioned almost any Allis prior to D17 (series IV) will have those special low volume high pressure hydraulics so do take that into account if you plan to use a remote cylinder.

This pic shows the connections at the transport valve. The hyd raise lever must be locked in raised position). The forward port is the supply line to the transport valve. Hose coupled to the transport valve feeds the aux valve. The return line from the aux valve comes in to the brass Tee in the return line going back to sump.

Ron M- You could add a front pump to your D17 for an independent hyd system...the front pulley should already be drilled/tapped for a pump drive. Then you could add as many valves as you need

Another ? Do these motors use shimed bearings like the b,c,ca ect. And the same crapy oil pump deal
