Rims for a D19

The rear rims on my D19 are about shot. They are spin out and look to be pretty pricy to buy replacements. It looks like some 19's came with double bevel. What are the chances of finding the parts to convert over to double bevel cheap?

The same wheel center is used for the spinout and the double bevel wheels. You just need the rim clamps

Are they so shot that they can"t be repaired with some profiles from donor rims....ie, cut/weld? Many are not that hard to fix.

I might be able to. Seems like when they are rusted in one spot, the rest if sometimes not far behind. Won't know for sure until the tires are off.

Just about any double-bevel rim will work. Our 190 has rims off a 4010 JD and our 4010 has rims off an 806 Farmall. If you do decide to switch, you will need different rim clamps which hold the rim to the cast center. The centers are the same. The clamps cost anywhere from $5-$15 each at junkyards.

Chad,
That's good info to know. The double bevel rims on my 19 Diesel are shot and I'm needing to replace them as well. I didn't know other models would work. Thanks.
