1953 B oil?

Ok, just bought my first tractor, a 1952 model B. Oil in it looks clean but just wondering what to use when I replace it. The (original) book I got with it says 30W for 90 degrees+, 20W above 32 degrees., 10 below that (relatively unlikely to use the tractor that cold in my neck of the woods). I assume a modern multi weight woudl work, maybe 10W-30?

I would also like to know what modern oils to use in the transmission, final drives etc. if different than the old recommendations.

Thanks!

A 10W-40 or 20W-50 is what I would use. As for the other stuff I use UTF that way I do not have to keep a number of oils around

I use 10w30 in the motor. Universal Tractor fluid or Hydraulic/ transmission fluid of your choice. The transmission /bevel gear/ hydraulics are all the same cavity and about 7 quarts. Use 80w90 gear lube in the final drive pans.

Exactly what I use in mine!
