Ok, just bought my first tractor, a 1952 model B. Oil in it looks clean but just wondering what to use when I replace it. The (original) book I got with it says 30W for 90 degrees+, 20W above 32 degrees., 10 below that (relatively unlikely to use the tractor that cold in my neck of the woods). I assume a modern multi weight woudl work, maybe 10W-30?
I would also like to know what modern oils to use in the transmission, final drives etc. if different than the old recommendations.
Thanks!
