wd45 diesel filter

I've got a wd45 that bulges the bottom on the final filter. The first time I thought had had water in and froze but new filter done the same thing like to much pressure

Were both of the filters that had problems the same brand? I use WIX filters on my WD45D and have not had any problems. It hard to imagine that the problem was due to pressure.

Had this problem with are 45 diesel. The pressure relief valve was stuck shut. The valve is in the cover of the gear pump on the injection pump. Take the lines and fittings off the pump and you should see it in there. I had to tap mine out with a brass punch.
