D12 gas tank

Looking for a good D12 gas tank. The one my friend has is rusted out. These are very, very hard to come by. He has a 45 one on now. Any one have....?

If he has the old tank then he will need to patch it. Finding a used one would be just about impossible.

I don't know that I would say impossible, but probably not cheap! I have a D12 series III out back that is missing the steering box. I purchased a series II steering box, just to see if I could adapt it, but that tractor really isn't high on my list of things to work on. I have a standing list of people who want parts off of it if I decide to part the tractor out. The torque tube alone on that tractor is worth a small fortune.
Repair with a red kote liner is probably the best thing, if he still has the original tank.
I wish I still had the original steering box for mine...
