AC forklifts and B153 engine

I have a friend in TX who has a AC forklift. All the identifying tags on the machine and motor are gone. After some research we believe the forklift to be a FL-40 and very sure it has a G-153 propane engine. I am looking for a source to help verify this but more importantly part numbers and parts. thanks in advance for the help.

Post some pix , I had a whole fleet of 'em back in the '70's. The oil filter was a spin on bypass type , Baldwin B-50 , The dist was a 4cyl Delco with a screw down cap. Spark plugs are set in the head at an angle...

We have an old Allis gasoline forklift (FTP50 I believe). Ours has a model 4B153 engine. We overhauled ours a year ago. This is some sort of indutrial version of the 153 engine. It is similar to a G153 engine but not the same. It has some heavier parts in it than the tractor engine. Connecting rods for one thing. We got all the overhaul parts we needed but we had to piece the overhaul kit together to get what we needed.

Here's what I have. I am quite familiar with the earlier Buda versions (4B-153) as we use those in our Cockshutt. Its the ones produced later by AC that I am not that familiar with.

After looking at your engine I see the water pump is on the block another indicator its probably a
175 although some of the later 153/230 engines had the pump on the block.
