I have a wd with a E3 gleaner combine engine in it. I rebuilt the
engine. To make it work in the tractor I had to use the wd45
govornor in it. It tends to surge at full rpm. I am wondering what
rpm the gleaner engine should be governed at firstly and if
anyone else has had problems with this set up or if I just dont
have it adjusted right. It only surges when you increase the
throttle rapidly or if it gets a sudden hard load on it. Usally with
my 5' mower.
