Allis Chalmers C head identification

I have to heads for my C one is number 2917-12 the other is 2917-14 what is the difference?

One has a casting number with a twelve and the other has a casting number with a 14. Other than that there would be no difference when it cam out of the factory. If there is a difference now it would be what was done to it in a machine shop.
Then it could be anywhere from what you have to this.
