G front lift arm pressure rod and spring

I am having trouble finding a pressure rod and spring for the front lifting arm on my G. I figure I'll make one, I just don't know exactly the length of the bar or spring dose any one out there have those measurements?

The rod is made from 5/8' steel rod and has a 90 degree bend at the top.
Length from the top of the bent part to the bottom is 12".
There is a cotter pin hole 1 1/2" from the top.
Also a cotter pin hole 3/4" from the bottom, and at 1 1/2" from the bottom.
And a cotter pin hole near the end of the 90 deg bent part.
