My friend has an Allis B with a radiator that needs to be replaced. Says it is a non-pressurized radiator. All States Ag and Yesterdays Tractor only sell replacements that are pressurized. Anyone know where he can go to get the right replacement? Or is there a way to get a pressurized radiator to work with his without going broke?

The part that pressurizes a radiator is the cap. Putting a non pressurized cap on the radiator shouldn't take a real large portfolio.
 
The early non pressurized radiators had a different filler neck which only accepted a non pressure type cap- much like the fuel tank cap.
I doubt you'll find one of those radiators. You have several options with a replacement radiator. Use it pressurized, or leave the cap loose, or rip the seal out of the cap.
You can also change the old neck from the head to a thermostat housing.
 
I think the old top tanks had a baffle to keep water from slopping up to the cap. At least some did as I have some old ones that way off the Allis B's. The new necks are different. I have a new radiator in a box that I plan to use soon. I was thinking a person could buy a low pressure cap. If I can't I will make a vent under the seal by cutting a couple slots and laying shim stock over the slots under the seal.
 
just remove the rubber seal on a pressured cap and it will be non-pressurized. You sometimes can pick up an old radiator on ebay. I have bought several at reasonable prices, Under $100.00.

I have also drilled a small hole from the bottom side of the cap seal to releave the pressure through the hole to the atmosphere side. When the cap is place on the radiator and tightened it will never pressure up unless the hole gets plugged.
 
If you can solder, just put the old neck on the new radiator. But if you get a new radiator a pressure system works better.
