Help help
I got a ca Allis at auction this week half in a basket
And could use some parts
A manifold,hitch parts and draw bar,manual
Oil filter,battery box,to start with.
The man died and it sat for awhile he had put in new selves and pistons, the rest is in a basket
I paid $975.00 and I am also old 79 and foolish
So could use some help if any one can help with parts
It would be nice. So if you have a junker around maybe
Some one can help me out so my wife won't laugh at me.

Get some good pictures of what you have to share with the Allis Chalmers boards. Watch Ebay for the needed parts and don't get in a hurry. Some ebay sellers only have parts that must be gold plated. In time good parts come that are not out of line in price.
Let us know what your plans are for the tractor. Are you wanting to restore it to factory new or are you just wanting to make it useable. If you bid that much at an auction someone else thought it was worth almost that much. Good Luck. The CA is a very good tractor.
 
I still do it the old way. I think there is an easier way on the modern view. Not sure though. Being only three years your junior I find it difficult to change what I learned many years ago. :)^D
