D15 Front Crankshaft Seal

I am taking my D15 apart to repair a steering problem (turned out to be a broken steering gear shaft) and thought it might be a good time to replace a leaking front crankshaft seal. I'd like to get everything I'm likely to need here ahead of time, but I am not sure what all is involved. Are there gaskets and other things that need to also be replaced after having the timing gear cover off.

Also, where can I get an oil seal centering tool, and a seal expander?

Probly the least you can get by with would be a front cover gasket. I buy rolls of gasket material and cut my own front cover gaskets when that is all I need. I use a piece of thin shim stock and wrap it in the shape of a funnel, well greased, around the crankshaft to keep from tearing the seal lip. Care in watching the seal while tightening the front cover bolts will keep it centered.
