What does it take to put a D14 engine into a allis C.

About four hours if you have everything ready. Plan on taking a day. You will have to use the clutch assembly and will need four step studs from 5/8" standard thread down to 1/2" fine thread to bolt the front casting to the block. The CA used the step studs.
Some hole changing in the hood.

do you have to use the D14 flywheel and starter or the Allis C flywheel and or starter.

(You will have to use the clutch assembly from the C.)

Yes you will need to use the C flywheel and starter. the ring gears have a different tooth counts.

You also need to use the C fan.
On the hood, you need to move the muffler hole, the oil fill hole and the C air filter will not fit. You can drill out the radiator mount to a size to fit the D14 studs if you don't have the step studs.
