WD engine

I have an engine out of a wd and I need to get it up off the floor, looking at an engine stand. Northern Tool has a 1500 pound capacity one. I want to be safe do you think that is heavy enough or should I buy a better one? I know these things are probably rated for more than they are built for. Does this engine weigh more than 500 pounds? Thanks.

One that is made to hold 1500lbs is way over kill for WD engine so go for it. Shipping weight for a WD45 long block engine is only 310lbs so even with a complete engine your lucky to hit 500lbs

A 4 wheeled one is more stable.
