B decal placement

where does the "B" get placed on a 1939 B. I noticed some are near the bottom of the nose piece an some are in line with the governor.

Thanks

The B didn't have a B decal until 1951.
They are just packaged in the kit so it is there for the correct model. Jut because it there doesn't mean it's correct to use it for all years Bob

To be politically correct a 1939 B does not use the B designation on the grill, they started those in the early 50's. I've seen some old photos of 1950's models with the decal high, about between the hood bolts but it could have varied depending on who was putting on stickers that day. Paint and decals were probably not that important at the time since the tractor was headed for the field when it was sold.

You've got it Bob!
They are packed for convenience. My research for that model showed the long A and C, and blue. No B on the front.

many people put them on as it shows the model to others that don't know.
Cheers,
Rex

Dad's 1948 B never had a "B" decal on it when new. The only thing that identified it as a "B" is the "B" at the start of the serial number.
