I put the ring and pinion from an H3 into my D14. The pinion has 1 more or 1 less tooth than the D14 but I don't remember which. This changed the gear ratio by 1/7. The ring gear is thinner but as long as the set is changed, it works.I put the torque tube from the H3 with it's shuttle in place of the original D14 torque tube which had the power director and it works. The H3 torque tube did not have a hole for the steering shaft so I had to cut one into it. There are hydraulic pump issues that I won't go into yet.
