Got it to running pretty good. Where the manifold is leaking, the outside port on the R side looking at it, I have either a valve or lifter sticking. Im going to see if I can find some material to make a washer to fit in between the manifold inserts on that port to close it off, but don't know how to deal with the other problem. Other than take it to a mechanic. Ive put atf in the cyl ports, and down the manifold. Let it set a week each time. If its helped, it hasn't helped that port, #4

pull the valve cover and see which one sticking. Most of the time you can lightly tap them with a hammer and have them break loose.I would advise a dead blow.

For sticking valves, have the engine running above idle, take the small plug out of the Intake runner and shove a full pump-type oilcan in that hole and pump in the (used engine oil) as fast as the engine will take without killing it.

Problem solved..(on an AC)..

Ron..

(PS..expect some SMOKE!!).

There should be a small 4-sided plug in the intake manifold between the carburetor and the upper part of the intake in one runner.

That port was for hooking a Vacuum line to, to power Milking Machines )!!..

If your is original, it should have it.

Ron.
