allis chalmers wc puller

im getting in to light farm stock pulls with my allis chalmers wc its got the d17 engine on it.. im looking to bore and stroke it to the max.. what stroke do i need? what cam should i run? what pistons should i run? thanks -BUD-
 
There has been a lot of good help posted over the years for pulling, but most of it shows up in the pulling forum down below. You might consider posting there, too.
 
If it a stock pull how can you have a WC with a D17 engine pulling as stock. I always thought that stock meant "as delivered to the farm when new" but now it seems to mean anything but. I asked a friend why he didn't take his tractors to the pulls anymore, his reply in two words "they cheat".I guess I just don't know the rules as well as you do. stock apearing.. stock rpm.. so im not up against completly stock tractors there are many rules to follow.. not everyone is willing to spend the money to compete.. but in my classes its a must if you want to win or come close.. its posted in the pulling tab on here as well.. thanks -BUD-
