I have a 1941 Allis Chalmers C that is currently having some magneto troubles. My father suposedly has a set of points that he hopes will fit my magneto and cure my problem. I"ve been inside a few distributors and carburators but never a magneto. Does any one have a diagram, literature or advice to help me out? I have a tractor pull next weekend and would like to have my tractor ready for that event. Any and all help is appreciated.

open it up and take pictures as you go. It probably just needs the point cleaned. Just take a box top from a cereal box and pull it through the closed points. check points gap .018 to.020. Refer to the manual that was sent to you. LOL Bob
