AC WC steel rear end

I have a WC with a steel rear end and like some information. Can"t find serial # left axle. What years made, weight differents in cast iron, number made and any other infro that may be helpful. Thanks

They were used toward the end of WWII, probably made about 15,000 of them. The serial # will be on the outer edge of the round area in the center of the rearend, hand stamped, a little harder to see on these, a steel brush works good.

Beyond what Lonnie said, the sn is on the upper rear-facing portion of the differential, vertical flat portion under half inch wide, and will start with an "S", for steel....often misread as a 5, which gives one too many numbers in the serial number.

Thanks guys for the infro. Found serial# right where you both said. It's 134707 makes it a early 1945. I brought it at the Polk Auction there was 900 plus tractors and this one caught my eye. Thanks Again Rodger
