OK guys, have done several tractors from mechanically right to refurbished to restored, but have only done one AC; a Series III D10 and while easy to work on it was a "Blue Bit@#" to find some parts for (still looking for fenders if anyone knows of any!!), but mostly JD, IH, Ford. I was given a G yesterday, but its rough and has been sitting outside for 20 plus years; The goods are: 3 rims are good, the hood is all in place and the engine is loose, I know the complete history, and its a G. The bads other than the normal carb, starter generator stuff: tires all shot, missing a fender, seat and steering wheel shot, in neutral but shifter frozen, other than the lift handle no mounting hardware for implements, gas tank extremely crusty inside. It does have a nice bullet light! LOL Question is this gonna be extraordinarily hard/expensive to parts source for? I"d like to redo it as I love a tractor I know the history on, and it was given to me by the son of the original owner because he likes what I have done with my other tractors, but I don"t want to open Pandora"s box for it either. As stated I really don"t have much experience with AC so hoping for some more educated opinions! Also can you still find plows for them? I always outfit my tractors with a compatible plow because I enjoy our plow days, but with tractors that take a specific plow it"s not as easy as having a couple 44 or Little Genius plows around or some Dearborns to switch from tractor to tractor. Thanks Pete
