what is the hp of the d14 and d15 engines. the blocks seem the same. thanks

the D15 had a 160 cubic inch motor (bigger bore), the 14 I think was 138 inch ?

The D-14 and D-15 Series 1 were both 149 CI. The blocks are the same as is the smaller bore 138 that was used in the early D10-12. Only the series 2 D-15 had the 160 which is a different block. Going from memory the D-14 was about 35 HP and the D-15 was about 41 HP difference for the 15 being primarily a slight bump in compression ratio and and increase in rated RPMs.
