Allis CA hand clutch

Hello all. I went and looked at an allis CA today that I am thinking of purchasing, and I noticed it did not have the hand clutch on it. Was this feature an option ( seems like I have seen it on the other CA's I have seen)? The serial number on the transmission indicated a model CA. Is there anything else to look for on these tractors? It does not currently run. I have Farmall's in my stable currently and this would potentially be my first Allis. Thank you.

Some may be missing the handle cuz the clutch is shot and PO didn"t want to spend mucho $$ to fix. Some bolted/welded the clutch discs together, others took it out and replaced the drive axle.

Yes the hand clutch was an option. It was also available on the left side rather than the right. Most all CA's had one and most were on the right. If the "platform" has a rectangular hole where the lever goes, it was most likely removed and the clutch "bolted up". If the knockout is still there, you have a rarity.

I have a CA I would sell it runs good has a 6 foot mower has not been converted to 12 volt take 1700 for tractor and mower 573 321 3990 in missouri
