D15II Clutch Set Up

I tried to set the initial height of the pressure plate levers to 1 5/16 (same as 1.31 to me). I can only get one of the levers to go that high.
This is a clutch that I had done at a clutch shop eons ago. They provided a standard (new) disk also.

I am measuring from the flat surface of the spring retainer on the disk to the top of the levers where they touch the throw out bearing.

What do you thing the issue could be?

Follow up. I noticed in the book that a new disk is supposed to be .22 thick. I took the clutch apart and the one that I was given (he he bought) measures about .312 thick. Think that is it?
