need advice on removing top brake band pin extremely stuck

Did you get the pins out yet?

I have a tool I made for a D17 S IV; I think they"re the same as a 185

Let me know if you"d like to borrow it....only asking for postage both ways
I can PM you a pic of it too.

A small pair of vice grips and heat...lots of heat. You may be able to drive it in a little and break it free, then use the vice grips to get it turning, lubricate it good and work it out.
