I have Johnny poppers but was at a sale today and nobody would bid on this old c so I picked it up for $350. Drove her home and mowed a couple acres. I like this old tractor. Can anyone tell me about em, when they were made, what kinda power they should have, and what they are worth. I play for keeps so it's not for sale, just wanting an education. Where is the serial number on this tractor and what can it tell me? Is it worth fixin up? Thanks for any info!

Good little tractors made through the 40s and up to about 1953. Around 20hp, usually bring around $1000 depending on tires, paint, etc. serial number is stamped just in front of the gear shifter. I think you'll be glad you bought it, especially for that price. Father in law just sold one that was strictly for parts and had a stuck motor for $400. You did good.

Does it look complete?

I'd say you did just fine. Serial number should be stamped near the gear shifter. With start with C...

I think I still have a toolbox on the shelf, I will look if you are interested. Would sell it for $10 plus postage.

as said before, you are missing the tool box.
It also has the wrong starter on it. The start switch should be on the underside of the starter not on the top. There is a rod that runs under he battery to the start switch to activate the starter.
they did invert the starter later on models B & CA, but they had a recess in the underside of the gas tank to accomidate the linkage.
You made a great deal. LOL Bob
