I"m trying to replace the front seal on my AC-160 Perkins D3.152 engine. I cannot for the life of me, get the crankshaft pulley off. I tried putting a screw driver in the flywheel and just keep popping the screw driver out. I screwed a thin bar to 2X of the 3/8-26 screw holes in the pulley, and bent the bar. I put a rod through two of the bolts and tried, and stripped the threads off of one of the screws trying to break it loose. I tried sharply hitting the breaker bar, and just marked up the breaker bar. Am I missing something? Any help would be appreciated. I"m about to set it on fire and roll it in hole. Well, not really. But it"s bested me for the day.
