.050 milled off the head.
The ports opened up and polished.
Small Block Chevy valves installed.

That should help spin a mower in tall grass.

Dick , I have probably asked this before, but refresh my memory on the Chevy valves.. Stem diameter and length same as Allis ? You use the chevy springs and keepers ? How much bigger do you make the valve heads compared to the B ? Do you need to change the seat or just cut it oversize ?

I used new Chevy keepers, tested to 55 lb. original valve springs and enlarged the valve seats on this head. A lot of hand work under the valve seats.

Couple quick questions for you.
First, I see you painted the valve train? any particular reason?
Second, did you rebush the rockers? Mine are quite worn and my shafts (all 3 on hand) flat spotted. The shafts have already been flipped so no luck there. I was looking at replacing the shaft with a custom one (once I get the Bridgeport running) and rebushing the rockers. Believe I have found suitable bushings (since AGCO says they can't get them any more) that would work with my custom shaft. But curious if you've found an easier solution.

The paint is only my signature.
The bushings on this rocker assembly were within spec. The tube shaft used for this was also with in spec. I have an attachment on my valve facing machine to re surface the rocker arm pads.
