190XT PTO no longer engages

I had seals installed on the front PTO shaft on a 190XT Allis to fix hydraulic leak and my PTO no longer engages. I suspect the PTO was not engaged before the front PTO shaft was removed. Possibly the shift coupler fell or did not engage the shaft when re-installed. Does the tractor have to be split at the transmission to resolve or can I access and repair through the Power Director access panel? I had a tractor mechanic do the work but he is no longer available. Any input would be appreciated. Thank You in advance. Sad

Hydraulic clutch PTO engagement for your 190XT? If so look behind the battery box for a manual disconnect lever on the side of the torque tube. It may have gotten flipped off while being worked on. If so flip it back on to engage the sliding coupler and that may fix it. Mike
